Drug intelligence / Profile preview
VX-A904 is an experimental therapeutic candidate developed by VERAXA Biotech, utilizing their proprietary BiTAC-ADC (bispecific T-cell engager antibody-drug conjugate) platform. This novel modality is designed to provide a synergistic anti-tumor effect by combining the targeted delivery of a cytotoxic payload, characteristic of antibody-drug conjugates, with the recruitment and activation of T cells at the tumor site, characteristic of bispecific T-cell engagers. Currently in the discovery stage, VX-A904 is being investigated for the treatment of various solid tumors, specifically lung cancer, ovarian cancer, and breast cancer. The specific tumor-associated antigens targeted by this molecule have not yet been disclosed.
