Overview

VX-P903 is a preclinical-stage bispecific T cell engager (BiTAC-TCE) being developed by VERAXA Biotech for the treatment of Multiple Myeloma (MM). The drug is designed to simultaneously target two surface antigens, CD38 and SLAMF7, which are highly expressed on myeloma cells. As a BiTAC (Bi-Targeted Tumor-Associated Cytotoxicity) T cell engager, VX-P903 employs VERAXA's proprietary combinatorial-gated design, meaning the therapeutic molecule is only activated when it binds to both specific targets found in close proximity on a cancer cell. This dual-targeting approach is intended to recruit and activate T cells against myeloma cells expressing both CD38 and SLAMF7, while minimizing off-target toxicity to healthy tissues. The drug is currently in preclinical development and is part of VERAXA Biotech's pipeline of antibody-based oncology therapeutics.
