Overview

VXA-102 is a preclinical-stage multispecific T-cell engager (TCE) being developed by VERAXA Biotech for the treatment of solid tumors, including lung, colon, and pancreatic cancers. The drug is engineered using VERAXA's proprietary BiTAC (Bispecific T-cell Activating) platform, which utilizes a novel architecture to enhance tumor selectivity. VXA-102 is designed to simultaneously target the Epithelial Cell Adhesion Molecule (EpCAM) and an additional tumor-associated antigen (TAA) on malignant cells, while engaging the CD3 receptor on T cells. This dual-antigen targeting approach is intended to increase the therapeutic window by improving tumor specificity and reducing off-tumor, on-target toxicities typically associated with single-antigen T-cell engagers.
