Overview

VXA-BYW-10 is an orally administered, adenoviral vector-based vaccine developed for the prophylaxis of influenza B virus infection. It is designed to stimulate the immune system by acting as a TLR3 (Toll-like receptor 3) agonist, thereby enhancing immune responses against influenza B. The vaccine was developed by Vaxart and has been evaluated in phase 1 clinical trials to assess its safety and immunogenicity in healthy adults[1][2][4][7].
