Drug intelligence / Profile preview
VXN-MHYO is a veterinary nanoparticle vaccine developed by Vaxinano for the prevention of *Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae* infections in swine, the causative agent of enzootic pneumonia. The vaccine utilizes Vaxinano's proprietary STELLAR-NP technology to formulate inactivated *Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae* pathogens into nanoparticles, which enhances the induction of protective immunity. VXN-MHYO is being developed as a monovalent vaccine, currently in Phase 3 clinical trials, and is also being evaluated in preclinical studies as part of a combined vaccine formulation.
