Drug intelligence / Profile preview
VY-OZ is a proprietary small molecule developed by Vycellix as an ex vivo reagent to enhance gene transduction into cytotoxic lymphocytes and hematopoietic stem cells using viral vectors. It is designed to improve the efficiency of genetic modification protocols in cell therapy manufacturing by transiently downregulating intracellular anti-viral defense mechanisms. This enables more efficient integration of desired genes into target cells and significantly improves gene editing rates for CRISPR-based systems. The product is highly differentiated from other platforms due to its ability to reproducibly increase transduction and editing rates across multiple protocols[2][1].
