Overview

VYN202 is an innovative, oral small molecule that acts as a highly selective inhibitor of the bromodomain and extra-terminal domain (BET) protein family, with class-leading selectivity for the BD2 domain over BD1. Developed by VYNE Therapeutics, VYN202 is designed to improve efficacy and tolerability compared to earlier generation BET inhibitors by minimizing off-target effects associated with BD1 inhibition. The drug has demonstrated robust pharmacodynamic activity, including significant inhibition of inflammatory biomarkers relevant to immune-mediated disorders. It is being developed primarily for chronic inflammatory and immune-mediated conditions such as moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis and adult-onset rheumatoid arthritis. Clinical trials have shown that VYN202 is generally well tolerated with no serious or drug-related adverse events observed in Phase 1 studies[1][2][3][4][5][6][8].
