Overview

VYR-206 is a **CB1 antagonist** developed by Vyripharm Biopharmaceuticals as a novel formulation derived from rimonabant, originally an obesity treatment, now repurposed for diagnostic and therapeutic applications. It integrates nuclear medicine imaging for theranostic use, targeting CB1 receptors to enable diagnosis and monitoring of neurological disorders and potentially treating cancers such as diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and mantle cell lymphoma (MCL). Vyripharm has collaborated with National Yang-Ming University on its diagnostic potential for neurological outcomes and with Regis Technologies for cGMP manufacturing.[1][2][4][5][7][8][10][14]
