W6 is a novel substituted benzamide derivative synthesized and evaluated for its potential as a multi-potent antimicrobial and anticancer agent. In preclinical in vitro studies, W6 emerged as a significant antibacterial candidate, demonstrating potent activity against Gram-positive (*Staphylococcus aureus*) and Gram-negative (*Salmonella typhi* and *Klebsiella pneumoniae*) bacterial strains, with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 5.19 µM. The compound was developed as part of a series of substituted benzamides designed to overcome multi-drug resistance in pathogens and treat resistant cancer cases. While the series was also evaluated for anticancer activity against the human colorectal carcinoma cell line (HCT116), W6 was specifically highlighted for its broad-spectrum antibacterial efficacy.
