Wakansen

Wakansen is a brand of traditional Japanese Kampo (herbal) medicines developed and marketed by Rohto Pharmaceutical. Launched in 2006, the product line consists of various classical herbal formulations adapted for modern over-the-counter (OTC) use in Japan. The most prominent product in the series is the Bofutsushogyosan formulation, which is indicated for the treatment of obesity, abdominal fat, and associated symptoms such as constipation and hypertension-related edema. Other products in the Wakansen line include Keigairengyoto for sinus and skin conditions, Shakuyakukanzoto for muscle cramps, and Goshajinkigan for lower body pain and numbness.
