This is a combination of three oral anticoagulant drugs—warfarin, acenocoumarol, and fluindione—all of which are vitamin K antagonists. Each drug inhibits the enzyme vitamin K epoxide reductase (VKOR), thereby impairing the biosynthesis of active vitamin K-dependent coagulation factors (II, VII, IX, X) and regulatory proteins C and S. This inhibition prevents proper blood clot formation and is used to treat or prevent thromboembolic disorders such as deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, atrial fibrillation-related stroke risk, and for patients with mechanical heart valves[1][2][4]. Warfarin is widely used in North America; acenocoumarol is more common in Europe; fluindione use is largely restricted to France. The pharmacokinetics (onset/duration) differ among these agents but their mechanism of action remains similar[1][5]. There are no known marketed products combining all three agents together; this entry describes a hypothetical or research-use-only combination.
