**WBMP-4** is a first-in-class monoclonal antibody developed by Welt Bio-Molecular Pharmaceutical (WBMP) that targets a specific epitope on membrane-bound immunoglobulin M (mIgM), a critical component of the B-cell receptor complex (BCRC) aberrantly activated in B-cell malignancies. Upon binding to monomeric and clustered mIgM on lymphoma and leukemia cells, WBMP-4 induces receptor internalization, potently inhibits growth, triggers apoptosis, and exhibits anti-stem-cell-like activity without cross-reactivity to healthy tissues or non-IgM expressing B-cells, potentially offering a safer alternative to existing therapies that cause broad B-cell depletion or off-target effects. Its mechanism disrupts multiple downstream BCRC signaling pathways, mimicking or surpassing the effects of approved kinase inhibitors like BTK, PI3K, and Bcl-2 inhibitors, as shown in preclinical studies on Burkitt lymphoma and other B-cell lines.[1][2][3][5][7][9]
