Overview

WD-iT1 is an induced regulatory T cell (iTreg) therapy being developed by Wondercel Therapeutics. It is designed to promote immune tolerance in patients undergoing solid organ transplantation, specifically for kidney, liver, and lung transplants. The therapy utilizes induced regulatory T cells to suppress the recipient's immune response against the donor organ, with the goal of preventing graft rejection and reducing the long-term requirement for systemic immunosuppressive drugs. WD-iT1 is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
