Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Wei Le Shu oral liquid is a traditional herbal medicine developed and manufactured by Shenhua Pharmaceutical (Jiangsu Shenhua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.). It is primarily indicated for the treatment of chronic gastritis and gastric ulcers, as well as the relief of associated symptoms such as gastric pain, fullness, and acid regurgitation. The formulation is typically based on the extract of Hericium erinaceus (Lion's Mane mushroom), which contains bioactive compounds like polysaccharides that promote the regeneration and repair of the gastric mucosal lining. By enhancing the protective barrier of the stomach, it helps mitigate inflammation and accelerate the healing of ulcerative lesions. It is an approved product in China and is administered orally as a liquid formulation.
