Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Weibing II is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by the Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Capital Medical University. It is one of four syndrome-differentiated formulae (Weibing I–IV) evaluated for the treatment of functional dyspepsia. The therapeutic strategy utilizes TCM syndrome differentiation, specifically focusing on the balance between cold and heat, and asthenia (deficiency) and sthenia (excess). Weibing II is intended to address a specific pathological pattern within this framework to improve gastric motility and alleviate dyspeptic symptoms.
