Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Weiche Nasensalbe nach Dr. Bader is a water-in-oil emulsion nasal ointment classified as a medical device (Medizinprodukt) in Germany. Developed and marketed by Hälsa Pharma GmbH, it is composed of lanolin (wool wax), sesame oil, neutral oil (medium-chain triglycerides), and purified water. The ointment functions through a purely physical mechanism where the lipophilic base slowly releases the hydrophilic phase to provide continuous moisturization of the nasal skin and mucosa. It is indicated for the treatment of dry nasal mucosa and skin in the anterior nasal area, including conditions such as rhinitis sicca anterior, rhinosinusitis, allergic rhinitis, and dryness resulting from supplemental oxygen use, obstructive sleep apnea, or post-radiation therapy. The product is intended for use in adults for up to 30 days.
