Overview
**WeiLeShu** is an orally administered probiotic supplement developed and manufactured by Tongchuang Biotechnology. The product contains approximately 6 billion live probiotic organisms and has been reported to consist mainly of *Lactobacillus helveticus* and *Bifidobacterium longum*; strain-level identities and the complete formulation have not been publicly elucidated. It is intended to modulate gastrointestinal microbiota, support intestinal barrier function, and potentially exert anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects. WeiLeShu was evaluated as an adjunct to systemic therapy in a randomized phase 2 study in metastatic colorectal cancer.
