Wen-Jing Hua-Yu Tong-Luo Decoction is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by Longhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is formulated as a small compound consisting of three main ingredients: Quanxie (scorpion), Chuanxiong (ligusticum wallichii), and Guizhi (cassia twig). The decoction is designed to warm the meridians, resolve stasis, and unblock collaterals. It is primarily being evaluated in clinical trials for the treatment and relief of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN), particularly in patients undergoing chemotherapy regimens such as those containing oxaliplatin.
