Wenjing Yangxue Heji (温经养血合剂) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) oral liquid preparation. It is composed of multiple herbal ingredients including Evodia rutaecarpa (吴茱萸), Angelica sinensis (当归), Ligusticum chuanxiong (川芎), Paeonia lactiflora (白芍), Colla corii asini (阿胶), Moutan cortex (牡丹皮), Codonopsis pilosula (党参), Cinnamomum cassia twig or bark extractives as "桂枝", Ophiopogon japonicus root tuber as "麦冬", Pinellia ternata processed with ginger as "半夏(姜制)", Glycyrrhiza uralensis root and rhizome as "甘草", and Zingiber officinale rhizome fresh or dried slices as "生姜"[4][6][10]. The main indications are for warming the meridians, dispelling cold, nourishing blood, and removing blood stasis. It is used to treat symptoms such as irregular menstruation, cold pain in the lower abdomen, dysmenorrhea, abnormal uterine bleeding, and infertility due to deficiency-cold of the Chong and Ren channels with blood stasis[4][3][7]. The drug is contraindicated in cases of excess heat or damp-heat syndromes[4][10].
