Overview
Wenshen Tiaojing Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed and manufactured by Baotou Traditional Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and associated menstrual disorders such as amenorrhea, oligomenorrhea, and female infertility, particularly in patients presenting with the TCM pattern of kidney-yang deficiency. The preparation is a complex mixture of herbal ingredients, including *Epimedium brevicornu*, *Cuscuta chinensis*, and *Rehmannia glutinosa*, which are believed to work synergistically to regulate the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian (HPO) axis. Pharmacologically, the granules are intended to modulate serum levels of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), reduce hyperandrogenism by lowering testosterone levels, and improve ovarian morphology to promote regular ovulation.
