Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Wenshen Yizhi Decoction is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by Dongfang Hospital of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine for the treatment of vascular cognitive impairment (VCI). The formula is specifically designed to address the Kidney-Yang deficiency syndrome, a common dialectical classification in TCM for patients experiencing cognitive decline. It aims to improve cognitive function by warming the kidney and benefiting intelligence. The decoction is currently being evaluated in clinical trials, such as ChiCTR1900025713, as an adjunctive therapy to standard internal medicine treatments to establish standardized dialectical criteria and assess therapeutic efficacy in VCI patients.
