Wenwei A Yayranji Pian

Wenwei A Yayranji Pian is a traditional Uygur medicine developed by Xinjiang Uygur Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for the treatment of constipation. It is formulated as a tablet and is intended to improve bowel movement frequency in adults with decreased spontaneous bowel movements. The drug has been evaluated in a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase III clinical trial (CTR20210918) in China. The primary efficacy endpoint of the study was the proportion of subjects achieving a complete spontaneous bowel movement within 24 hours after the first dose. As a traditional medicine, its therapeutic effect is based on Uygur medical principles, likely involving the stimulation of gastrointestinal motility through a combination of botanical ingredients.
