Drug intelligence / Profile preview
WenYangYiQi (also known as Wen Yang Yi Qi Fang) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula designed to 'warm Yang and tonify Qi.' It is primarily used as a supportive treatment for patients with breast cancer, particularly following surgery or during chemotherapy, to improve quality of life and alleviate symptoms such as fatigue and weakness. The formula typically comprises a combination of herbs such as Astragalus and Ginseng, which are believed to enhance the body's 'Zheng Qi' (vital energy) and immune function. It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials led by the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and Dong Fang Hospital to assess its impact on postoperative recovery and overall patient well-being.
