Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Phylex BioSciences' West Nile virus vaccine is a preclinical mRNA-based candidate designed to prevent West Nile virus infection. The vaccine utilizes a proprietary platform where messenger RNA encodes a viral antigen that self-assembles into a nanoparticle structure. This technology is intended to mimic the structure of a virus-like particle (VLP), displaying multiple copies of the antigen to the immune system to elicit a robust and durable immune response. The platform aims to combine the rapid development advantages of mRNA with the high immunogenicity of nanoparticle-based antigen presentation.
