WG101 is an allogeneic stem cell therapy composed of human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells (hUC-MSCs), developed by Shenzhen Wingor Biotechnology. The drug is primarily designed to treat degenerative and chronic neurological conditions, with its most advanced clinical program targeting ischemic stroke. WG101 has received Investigational New Drug (IND) acceptance from the China National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) and is currently undergoing Phase I/IIa clinical trials. These studies are being conducted at specialized institutions, including Beijing Tiantan Hospital and Shenzhen Second People's Hospital, to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and potential of the cells to promote tissue repair and immunomodulation in patients.
