Drug intelligence / Profile preview
WGc-0501 is an investigational mRNA-based therapeutic cancer vaccine developed by WestGene (WestGene Biopharma) for the treatment of solid tumors. The vaccine utilizes mRNA technology to deliver genetic instructions for tumor-associated antigens directly into the patient's cells. Once expressed, these antigens are intended to stimulate a robust and targeted anti-tumor immune response, activating both cellular and humoral immunity to recognize and eliminate malignant cells. WGc-0501 is part of WestGene's tumor treatment vaccine platform and is currently in Phase 1 clinical development.
