Overview

WGI-2101 (MyMiR) is an anti-microRNA therapeutic candidate being developed by The WhiteOak Group for the treatment of non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The drug is designed to inhibit microRNA-21 (miR-21), an oncogenic microRNA that is frequently upregulated in solid tumors and plays a critical role in promoting cell proliferation, survival, and invasion while suppressing apoptosis. WGI-2101 utilizes a proprietary lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery platform called QTsome to protect the anti-microRNA payload from degradation and enhance its delivery to tumor cells. The program is currently in the preclinical stage, with IND-enabling studies underway to support future clinical trials.
