White button mushroom extract is a concentrated nutritional supplement derived from the fungus *Agaricus bisporus*. It is studied in oncology for its potential anti-cancer and immunomodulatory properties, particularly in hormone-dependent cancers like breast and prostate cancer. [1, 3] The proposed mechanisms of action include the inhibition of the aromatase enzyme, which reduces the body's production of estrogen, and the suppression of androgen receptor activity.
