Drug intelligence / Profile preview
WHSPR is a proprietary delivery platform technology developed by Solésence, Inc. designed to stabilize and deliver high concentrations of allantoin, a well-known skin protectant. The technology is particularly effective in anhydrous product formats such as serums, balms, and face or lip oils, which are often challenging for traditional allantoin formulations. Clinical studies have demonstrated that WHSPR-enabled products provide statistically significant improvements in skin barrier recovery, barrier strength, hydration, and reduction of redness. It is utilized across skincare, suncare, and color cosmetics, supporting FDA OTC monograph claims for skin and lip protection.
