Overview
WID-CLZ18 is a clozapine formulation being developed by Whanin Pharmaceutical Company. It is being studied as a potential bioequivalent alternative to Clozaril (clozapine) 100 mg tablets for the treatment of schizophrenia. Clozapine is an antipsychotic medication that works by changing the actions of chemicals in the brain. It is primarily used to treat schizophrenia in adults after other treatments have failed and to reduce the risk of suicidal behavior in adults with schizophrenia or similar disorders.
