WIN378 is a novel, fully human monoclonal antibody that targets the ligand of thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP), a cytokine implicated in the pathogenesis of various immunological diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Developed using the Harbour Mice® platform with two heavy chains and two light chains (H2L2), WIN378 potently binds to TSLP and inhibits its interaction with the TSLP receptor. This blockade disrupts TSLP-mediated signaling pathways involved in both eosinophilic and non-eosinophilic inflammation, particularly relevant to severe asthma. The antibody is engineered for long half-life optimization, allowing for potential dosing every six months. Clinical development is ongoing for severe asthma (phase 2) and COPD[1][3][4][5][7].
