Drug intelligence / Profile preview
WJ-Pure is a regenerative cell therapy consisting of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) derived from the Wharton's Jelly of the human umbilical cord. Developed by Vitti Labs, WJ-Pure is designed to treat inflammatory and degenerative conditions by utilizing the innate immunomodulatory and tissue-repair properties of MSCs. The therapy is administered intravenously and has been investigated for its potential to reduce lung inflammation and improve clinical outcomes in patients with moderate to severe Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), particularly those affected by COVID-19. By secreting various cytokines and growth factors, WJ-Pure aims to suppress the cytokine storm and facilitate the regeneration of damaged alveolar tissues.
