Drug intelligence / Profile preview
WJ04 is a small molecule inhibitor of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) currently under development by Wigen Biomedicine Technology (Shanghai). EGFR is a well-validated target in various solid tumors, particularly non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), where mutations in the kinase domain lead to constitutive activation and tumor progression. WJ04 is designed to selectively inhibit EGFR signaling to suppress tumor growth. It is currently in the early stages of development for oncology indications.
