It selectively inhibits HDAC1, HDAC2, and HDAC3, and works by inducing cell cycle arrest, inhibiting angiogenesis, regulating immune response, and promoting cancer cell senescence and apoptosis. It belongs to the class of epigenetic modulator drugs and is administered orally.
