WL-276 refers to at least two distinct investigational anticancer agents. The first is a small-molecule antagonist of anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 family proteins, developed as a lead candidate for treating drug-resistant hormone-refractory prostate cancer (HRPC). This compound induces apoptosis in tumor cells by antagonizing B-cell lymphoma 2 protein and B-cell lymphoma-extra large protein, overcoming drug resistance and suppressing tumor growth in preclinical models[1][7]. The second is a CAR-T cell therapy developed by Beijing Imunopharm Technology for the treatment of CD276-positive recurrent or progressive glioblastoma. This therapy uses genetically engineered T cells targeting the CD276 antigen on glioblastoma cells and is currently being evaluated in early phase 1 clinical trials[3][5].
