Wnt5A siRNA is a research-stage small interfering RNA (siRNA) designed to silence the expression of the *WNT5A* gene. Wnt5a is a highly conserved ligand that activates the non-canonical Wnt signaling pathway, which is implicated in various pathological processes including tumor progression, metastasis, and inflammatory diseases. In oncology, Wnt5a has been identified as a driver of enzalutamide resistance in prostate cancer and therapeutic resistance in melanoma. Preclinical studies have utilized various delivery vehicles, such as bioengineered RNA agents (BERA) or adenoviral vectors, to evaluate the therapeutic potential of Wnt5a knockdown in models of advanced prostate cancer, melanoma, and atherosclerosis.
