WP1075 is a preclinical-stage recombinant protein immunotherapy being developed by Worgpharma (also known as Worg Pharmaceuticals or Baiming Xinkang) for the treatment of cat dander allergy. Developed using Worgpharma's proprietary PCFiT (Peptide Carrier Fusion Technology) platform, WP1075 is a fourth-generation allergen-specific immunotherapy (AIT). It is designed as a recombinant fusion protein that targets the major cat dander allergen (Fel d 1). By genetically engineering and modifying the IgE-binding epitopes while preserving the T-cell epitopes, WP1075 aims to induce immune tolerance and activate regulatory T cells (Tregs) and blocking IgG antibodies, thereby minimizing the risk of IgE-mediated allergic reactions and significantly shortening the treatment course compared to traditional allergen extracts.
