Drug intelligence / Profile preview
WSK-IM05 is a therapeutic HPV cancer vaccine developed by WestVac Biopharma for the treatment of oropharyngeal cancer caused by Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection. It is distinguished as the first therapeutic HPV vaccine internationally to utilize an intranasal route of administration via a nasal spray. The vaccine is designed to elicit a mucosal and systemic immune response against HPV antigens associated with malignant tumors in the oropharynx. Currently in preclinical development, WSK-IM05 represents a novel approach to treating HPV-related malignancies through non-invasive delivery.
