Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**WSK-V104** is an adjuvanted recombinant trivalent influenza vaccine jointly developed by WestVac Biopharma and West China Hospital of Sichuan University for prevention of seasonal influenza. The vaccine is produced using an insect cell-baculovirus recombinant protein expression system rather than egg-based influenza-virus cultivation and is designed to match World Health Organization-recommended trivalent seasonal influenza strains. WestVac states that the product incorporates the novel adjuvant WGa01 to enhance and prolong vaccine-induced protective immune responses. WSK-V104 received National Medical Products Administration clinical-trial authorization in China on February 9, 2026.
