Drug intelligence / Profile preview
WT-1 and PRAME RNA-loaded dendritic cells (FDC101) is an autologous, RNA-loaded mature dendritic cell (mDC) cancer vaccine. It is designed as a maintenance therapy for patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who are in complete remission but ineligible for allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. The vaccine is produced by loading a patient's own dendritic cells with full-length mRNA encoding two leukemia-associated antigens: Wilms' Tumor 1 (WT-1) and PRAME (Preferentially Expressed Antigen in Melanoma). These cells are matured using a TLR 7/8 agonist cocktail. Upon intradermal administration, the vaccine aims to prime and expand T-cell responses against residual leukemic cells expressing these antigens, thereby preventing relapse.
