WT-9341 is a preclinical-stage small molecule inhibitor developed by WARF Therapeutics for the treatment of prostate cancer. It is designed to target the androgen receptor (AR) and its splice variants (AR-Vs), which are frequently implicated in the development of resistance to standard androgen deprivation therapies in patients with castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC). Unlike many existing therapies that target the ligand-binding domain of the AR, this program focuses on inhibiting the activity of both full-length AR and truncated splice variants like AR-V7 that lack the ligand-binding domain but remain constitutively active.
