WTS-005

WTS-005 is an orally bioavailable, small molecule pan-FGFR (Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor) inhibitor developed by Hangzhou Wutongshu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. It is designed to target FGFR1, FGFR2, and FGFR3, which are frequently altered via mutations, fusions, or amplifications in a variety of solid tumors. By inhibiting the tyrosine kinase activity of these receptors, WTS-005 disrupts downstream signaling pathways such as MAPK/ERK and PI3K/AKT, thereby suppressing tumor cell proliferation, survival, and angiogenesis. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including gastric cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, and breast cancer, particularly in patients harboring documented FGFR genetic alterations.
