Drug intelligence / Profile preview
WTX-001 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by Wntrix for the treatment of various solid tumors, including liver, pancreatic, lung, and skin cancers. The therapeutic consists of a monoclonal antibody directed against a novel, undisclosed tumor-enriched membrane antigen, conjugated to a cytotoxic payload. WTX-001 is designed to selectively deliver the cytotoxic agent to cancer cells that highly express the target antigen, thereby maximizing therapeutic efficacy while minimizing off-target toxicity. As of early 2026, WTX-001 is in Phase 1 clinical development for liver and pancreatic cancers, while remaining in preclinical or early-stage development for lung and skin cancers.
