Drug intelligence / Profile preview
WTx-005 is a preclinical-stage therapeutic candidate developed by Window Therapeutics using its proprietary Bispecific Antibody-drug conjugate-like Molecule (BAM) platform. The drug is designed to target Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA), a cell-surface protein that is significantly overexpressed in prostate cancer cells and the tumor neovasculature of various solid malignancies. By employing a bispecific antibody architecture to deliver a cytotoxic payload, WTx-005 aims to achieve precise tumor targeting and enhanced therapeutic efficacy while reducing off-target effects associated with traditional chemotherapy. It represents the lead program in Window Therapeutics' pipeline of next-generation antibody-drug conjugates.
