Overview

WTX212A is an antibody-cell conjugate (ACC) consisting of an anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody conjugated to erythrocytes (red blood cells). It is being developed by Westlake Therapeutics for the treatment of advanced solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. The drug acts as a PD-1 inhibitor—blocking the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) pathway to enhance immune responses against cancer cells. Clinical trials are ongoing in early phase 1 for patients with unresectable or metastatic advanced solid tumors who have failed previous systemic therapies[1][5][8].
