Wuwei Ganlu Medicinal Bath Granules (WGMG) is a standardized Tibetan herbal preparation derived from the traditional 'Five-Flavored Nectar' decoction, a cornerstone of Lum medicinal bathing in Sowa Rigpa (Tibetan medicine). The formulation is based on the *Four-Tantras* (rGyud-bzhi), a classic Tibetan medical text dating from the 8th to 12th centuries. It is composed of equal proportions of five medicinal plants: *Juniperus formosana* (branch and leaf), *Rhododendron anthopogonoides* (flower), *Myricaria germanica* (stem and leaf), *Ephedra saxatilis* (stem), and *Artemisia sieversiana* (whole plant). WGMG is primarily indicated for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA), where it exerts anti-inflammatory effects by blocking the Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4)/nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) and NOD-like receptor pyrin domain-containing 3 (NLRP3) signaling pathways. The bioactive compounds are absorbed through the skin during the medicinal bathing process to alleviate joint inflammation and pain.
