Overview
Wuwei Yixin Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) candidate developed by Jiangsu Kanion Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for the treatment of stable angina pectoris and coronary heart disease. The formulation is specifically designed to address the TCM syndrome of Qi and Yin deficiency combined with phlegm and blood stasis, which are common pathological states in cardiovascular conditions. The drug aims to alleviate symptoms of myocardial ischemia, improve cardiac function, and reduce chest pain through a multi-target approach characteristic of herbal formulations. As of early 2025, it is undergoing Phase 2 clinical evaluation in China to assess its efficacy and safety in this patient population.
