WuZi hot compress plaster

WuZi hot compress plaster is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) topical formulation developed by the Yueyang Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital, affiliated with the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is designed for the treatment of pain and discomfort associated with hyperplasia of mammary glands (breast hyperplasia). The "WuZi" (Five Seeds) name refers to the inclusion of five specific medicinal seeds, which typically include ingredients like Semen Sinapis (Bai Jie Zi) and Semen Raphani (Lai Fu Zi), known in TCM for their ability to promote Qi circulation, transform phlegm, and dissipate nodules. The plaster is applied topically to the breast area, often in conjunction with heat (hot compress) to enhance the transdermal absorption of the active botanical compounds.
