WXFL10030390 (also known as WX390) is a novel orally bioavailable small molecule that acts as a dual inhibitor of phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) and mammalian target of rapamycin kinase (mTOR). It potently inhibits all four PI3K isoforms—PI3Kα, PI3Kβ, PI3Kδ, and PI3Kγ—along with mTOR. By simultaneously targeting these two key nodes in the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway, the drug suppresses cancer cell growth, survival, proliferation, and migration. This mechanism leads to tumor inhibition through induction of apoptosis and cell cycle arrest.
