X-PACT

**X-PACT** is an investigational, locally administered drug-device cancer therapy developed by Immunolight and subsequently rebranded as Immunolight Cancer Therapy. It co-injects methoxsalen, also known as 8-methoxypsoralen, with energy-converting phosphor materials into a tumor; externally applied low-dose X-rays are converted by the phosphors into UVA light, which photoactivates methoxsalen in situ. Activated methoxsalen forms DNA photoadducts and crosslinks that cause tumor-cell cytotoxicity and apoptosis. X-PACT is being evaluated in a Phase 1 intratumoral study for advanced solid tumors, including head and neck cancer, breast cancer, soft tissue sarcoma, and melanoma.
